NEET 2020 – Official Updates
- Guidelines
Application/Registration for process for NEET (UG) - 2020 is available only through online mode.
Online application form can be submitted in NTA website https://www.nta.ac.in/, https://ntaneet.nic.in/
Make sure to read all the instructions provided on NTA website.
Provide correct e-mail address and mobile number since all the communication by NTA will be sent through e-mail or registered phone number.
- Process to Apply Online
Step i: Apply online in https://ntaneet.nic.in/ntaneet/Registration/Instruction.aspx
Step ii: Fill in the details of the student and note down the system generated application number.
Step iii: Upload the images of the following
- Passport size photograph
- Left hand thumb impression
- Candidate’s signature
- Class X passing certificate
Step iv: Pay the fee through payment gateway and keep proof of fees paid.
Step v: Download, save and print copies of confirmation page after successful transaction.

Last date for successful payment of fee - 02 December 2019 to 01 January 2020
Downloading admit cards from NTA website – 27 March 2020
Date of examination – 03 May 2020
Declaration of Results – 04 June 2020

- NEET 2020 Pattern and Exam Details
Pattern:
NEET (UG) 2020 is pen and paper based test.
The duration of exam is 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm that is for 03 hours.
All the questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with four options and single correct answer/best option.
Each question carries 4 marks.
For each incorrectly answered question 01 mark will be deducted.
